God’s Girls are images of women and queer people in spaces of addiction recovery. I found this project became clear to me the second I read Ann Cveotkovich's, “An Archive of Feelings,” then I was finally able to articulate page by page why I was drawn to take these images. An archive is a moment of time;these images are but small looks into the lives of the people I have grown alongside with. In a way the whole time I was photographing to understand my own process of grief.
